This is the portfolio of Ichiro Nakamura. It features a selection of work, ranging from the DTP projects where I began my design career to some of my major projects since then.

Web production has been the longest-running aspect of my career. For the vast majority of these projects, I have handled the entire process myself—from the initial consultation and quoting to design, development, and final delivery.

I also handled numerous design proposals. Reviewing concepts and requirements, gathering and creating assets, and enhancing the overall aesthetic—these were aspects of the work that I, as a designer, found genuinely enjoyable.

I began my photography journey by acquiring equipment—starting with a DSLR—to shoot people and products for advertisements. Eventually, I ended up photographing a wide range of subjects, extending beyond people to include landscapes and still-life shots.

Even while attending art school, I was deeply engrossed in creating graphic mixed-media works rather than traditional oil paintings. I think I was drawn to an editorial aesthetic—one that combined illustration and text, rather than relying on either one alone.
